SMS program and opt-in details

This page publicly documents how Crownwork collects consent to send text messages, exactly what our signup forms show, and how to opt out. Text messages are always optional: every quote, match, and job update also appears in your account on the web.

What we send

Transactional and account messages only, from (704) 817-2429: booking confirmations, price-quote confirmations, job status updates, one-time verification codes, optional safety check-ins for students during a job, and private post-job feedback links. No marketing. Message frequency varies with your booking activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

Opt-in path 1: our signup forms

The consent checkboxes below are shown exactly as they appear on our public signup forms. They are unchecked by default, clearly labeled optional, and never requiredto create an account, book help, or apply to work. Skipping them changes nothing except that we won't text you.

Opt-in path 2: you text or call us first

Our business number, (704) 817-2429, is published across this site. Text START, or simply describe what you need, to begin. Replies are limited to your booking and account, and the first reply of every new conversation includes the full program disclosure. A representative first exchange:

Thanks for texting Crownwork! Happy to set up your dog walk. What time on Thursday works, and what part of Charlotte are you in?

Texting or calling first is how you opt into replies about your request. Reply STOP at any time to end texting, HELP for help, or START to rejoin later.

Opting out and changing your mind

Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts, or HELP for help. You can also switch text updates on or off anytime from the Text updates toggle in your account. Opting out never affects your ability to use Crownwork. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and mobile numbers and opt-in data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
